What kind of bits you use in your horses mouth?
I was wondering what everyone uses in the horses mouth and why? I have three horses and each one seems comfortable with some completely different to the other and against the school or showing. Han/Tb- kimberwick at shows and D-school steak fillet loose perch/paint- in the show ring and buttocks egg French liaison for the school enrollment QH-Side Pull / entertainment and a cheek full hacks slowtwist According to a bit of plastic do you mean the rubberized? I rented a horse once came with the rubber bit and was a real hell to deal with him. I finally changed it in a little metal and was fine. I personally think it's because the rubber is covered with metal in the rubber and makes it so thick!
11yrs old BLM Mustang … Tom Thumb, changed from an O-ring steak to a Tom Thumb now that Cortez is rather slow and neck finish his training. He is a horse track and used in operation of a backup of cattle on horseback. Mustang / QH cross fillet 5yrs O-ring … of age. Even in training. She is starting to slow down the neck As to the change in a year or less. Main livestock and some horse riding trail Paint … 2 years fillet o-ring … just started their training this miniature horse fall. 4yrs Halter and lead rope … haha my baby daughters. She is learning to ride this mare and she is green broke. Do not want heavy hands horses mouth and rides very well in this way. Sick album next year on a steak The other 2 are not yet broke to ride and we ride Oh West;) I'm a little old-fashioned when it comes to bite a horse. We left them all in an O-ring od .. ring and graduate at a rate shortly after Tom Thumb curb the neck is well established. I see no reason to go to a sidewalk or anything harder if the grounds are set correctly. We took a little longer to get our horses trained by lack time and life. But get it done in the long term. Our horses are all horses on all the pleasure that used in cattle. Cutting, selecting and bringing home herd. Generally speaking our Mustang gelding carries the cattle home because it has a quiet temperament and very easy to travel through it without getting okra haha. Our mustang / QH mare is a little faster on his feet and has more instinct with cattle for what is used for cow calf pairs and cut the rope and drag to the fire. Also use care for calves in the pasture and is not afraid of cows.
