Cathy Hanson, HorseCoursesOnline faculty member, has been named 2007 Most Valuable Professional AQHA.
The prestigious award that transcends gender, given to one-year professional whose contributions have benefited the horses, and horse lovers horse industry. AQHA, the world's largest association of caste, Hanson was the winner at the national convention.
Hanson teaches Showmanship in hand and preparing for the competition HorseCoursesOnline.com, the leading global provider of Internet courses in equine studies. His courses are part of the 16 courses that lead a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies.
A champion horse trainer in the world, Hanson specializes in horse track and work with young people competitors. Its training center in San Juan Capistrano, CA, maintains about 40 horses are active at all times.
A former president of Costa Pacific Quarter Horse Association (PCQHA), Hanson is now focused primarily on the development of youth and equine education programs. She serves both as a Director PCQHA and Youth Activities.
