Equine bedding pine pellets as cat litter?
I currently use feline pine and it has been suggested on several occasions YA wood pellets (the kind used in pellet stoves) are a substitute for the same and much cheaper. Unfortunately, my local farm supply store carries only wood pellets season. However, I saw an ad for Tractor Supply Co pellets for horse bedding pine, and I suppose that is similar or equal. TSC is out of my way so I thought I'd get opinions before going to look for if you're wondering why not just go and see for myself! You can not beat the price: on sale for $ 10 for two bags of 40 pounds while Feline Pine which is $ 8 for a 20 lb. bag at Walmart! It is indeed a great thing and I would have changed years ago. But I would love to save $, of course. Here A link to your ad if it helps: http://tractorsupply.shoplocal.com/index.aspx?pagename=moreinfo&circularid=15368&pagenumber=1&uniqueid=18056890&dssid=bb342090-a5db-49b1-9738-22f4ccd1ee16 Thanks!
I use pine boxes equine my cat and my ferret litter boxes. I think it's great! and buy tractor supply too!
