First Dance Choreography – Fabulous or sticky?
The first dance of a wedding is often a source of anxiety for couples. Some people are uncomfortable in the spotlight, and cringe at the thought of all eyes on them. Others do not dance, and are afraid of embarrassing themselves on the track. And clumsy types are petrified to trip over their own feet and take a bulldozer in front of all guests.
These are common concerns. A great way to alleviate these problems is to take dance lessons, and practice your first dance until you have reached a comfort level with it. There are some couples, however, that will take you to next level together. These are people who not only do not mind being the center of attention, who live by it. And for brides and grooms, no ordinary dance enough.
An important trend in weddings right now is the choreographed first dance. Instead of simply taking a walk around the dance floor for a romantic song, the newlyweds are working with professional choreographers to arrange elaborate dance routines. Always dramatic, often funny, the idea is to surprise the guests and make a big splash.
Typically these choreographed dances will start off looking like a regular first dance in a traditional love song. The impact comes from the "Surprise" when suddenly the couple switches from standard dancing a sort of dance routine. Part of the act often includes a dramatic pantomime when the first song ends abruptly in the middle. The couple pretends to be surprised, suddenly begins another song, and the newlyweds start to breakdance (or moonwalk, or whatever they think would get the greatest joy of the crowd.) The routines are very intricate choreography, and clearly needs a lot of planning and practice.
The question is, is this type of dance choreographed first add to the wedding or at the expense of her? Like most things, the answer lies mainly in the eye of the beholder. Many people think it's hysterically fun zing their guests with an unexpected element in the reception. There is also apparently a large number of brides and grooms dying to become YouTube meat. Without Clearly, your first dance with thunder and lightening effects will make a strong impression, but is it correct?
To answer this question, you must know your audience. If you re-create "Michael Jackson Thriller" video, it will be your grandmother thinks it's hilarious, or will she be mortified? Does the bride's father really need to see your child "shake the money maker" the day of your wedding? Another question is when we look back at her wedding in five or ten years, is going to be funny or embarrassed? Remember, too, that just because you can learn the steps do not necessarily mean that you have the pace to remove the moves!
For a bride who really wants to shine on your wedding day, there are ways that are always tasteful. A spectacular wedding dress with a full set of dazzling jewels for weddings glass always looks impressive. The jewelry for the wedding of glass is also great because you can remove it and use it any day you need a lift soon. (Jewelry is one way of raising the spirits of any woman!) You may also consider an adjustment input for a princess, a horse-drawn carriage, or even an elephant. It is possible to achieve a dramatic effect without having to go through the shock value.
What crazy choreographed dances lack is dignity to be a milestone as momentous as marriage. For some couples, the only thing that matters is having a laugh, and that is certainly their prerogative. But before jumping into the last car, stop to consider if you want your first dance is to show your love, or just showing off. Should not have guessed, on the question of fabulous or tacky, vote for bad taste!
