West Hollywood classics have always been favorites of mine. While the West did not is as popular today as it was before (although there has been some renewed interest), any movie buff younger than omit the western genre in your area of interest film have actually stopped going to the movies great. The West is much more than the opera "horse" as some describe it. Released in 1939, director John Ford's diligence not only became a classic western, but it was the breakthrough role of providing for a young actor named John Wayne. diligence filmed on location in Monument Valley, Arizona, documents the perilous journey of a group of strangers on board a stagecoach through dangerous territory apache. A classic West with a strong combination of characterization, drama, action and humor, diligence is considered one of the most influential films of all time.
In 1948, the film adaptation of s B. Traven novel "The Treasure of Sierra Madre 'made its debut. Directed by John Huston, the film often Western has been called "movie-making at its best." It tells the story of two down and out (U.S. Bogart Humphrey, and Tim Holt) in 1920 Mexico who meet and are attached to an old prospector (Walter Huston) in a treasure hunt noxious to the Sierra Madre Mountains. Their friendship turns out to be short-lived as the greed for gold Dobbs corrupts the minds of Bogart's character eventually turn against each other. A large representation of greed and irony.
1952, before the danger is considered by many the greatest western classics ever filmed. This is not your typical Western. Having little in the way of violence, the danger is both exciting and suspenseful. The film portrays emotional and moral consciousness, centered around a Mans courage in the face of extreme danger.
Telling the story of newlyweds and retired City Marshall Will Kane (Gary Cooper), the story revolves around threats Death made by outlaw Frank Miller after being arrested and sent to prison for Marshall Kane. John Ford westerns directed a series of large, but none is more worthy of recognition that his 1956 film The Searchers. Based on the novel by Alan Le May "The Seachers' which was was based on an incident in real life, this popularity has increased over time movies to the point where it is considered one of the best westerns ever made. It is the aging and bitter history of Ethan Edwards Civil War veteran (John Wayne). A Comanche raid has killed his brother and his sister, his nephew, and kidnapped his two nieces Lucy and Debbie. It is tragic that this act serves as the beginning of a search that will last five years. Soon, Ethan finds the murdered body of his niece Lucy.
Along with his adopted brother mestizo son Martin (Jeffrey Hunter) search continues for the remaining niece. Ethan hatred of the Comanches, and what they have done corresponds to the Comanche chief Scar feels hatred for all whites. After knowing that during his years dedicated to the Comanches, his niece Debbie was raised as an Indian and married Chief Scar, Ethan decide now rather than rescue her would kill her.
People regardless of age, these classic West Hollywood not to be missed by anyone who loves movies and movie history.
