Biology question – on natural selection?
Idaho many years ago there existed a population of horses. 40% of horses had a black coat, 39% of horses had a white dress, while 21% had a coat that was a black / white mix. As time passed, predation pressure because of roaming packs of wolves, the coat color of horses was above all, very few people with either a black coat and a white coat. What type of natural selection was carried out within the horse population and why? What breed of modern horse population could this represent? And also, a population of African finches are found to have small bills or large bills, or interim accounts.
