How much is a fourth level of horse?
I am looking for a horse to get my bronze, silver, and well into my gold medals in UDSF. My coach and I agree we need a horse that knows more about me so that I learn to preform moves. My top level coach and I think I need a horse that is fourth-PSG trained or trained through 3, but with more education / shows the potential for piaffe passage work. How much are these horses (in California)? I was thinking 30000-40000. Sorry I left out some things. I am only doing first / second a little now as a third horse is doing, but it's piaffe / potential fei who know more than me. Besides the horse would be in training.
You are in the middle of what is necessary for the horse that will take where you indicate that you want to go. For the money you mentioned, you will receive a horse on the way back down, not on the rise. That certainly is a great way be done with a great education. I've had two of them, and I love to be able to find another. CA and FL are likely to be the best option, so you have so that no have to fly very far to find the gems. The last child I got was from CA, which is for me Trippe Harding, but unfortunately has passed. I would cast Peters barn out Stephan and working students. If you approach dressage judges or senior clinicians, who travel a lot, often have information about horses that are competitive and for sale, but not always advertised or on the open market. I had a relationship 20 years talking to Trippe, so I was happy in my search. It took a year, but the horse he found for me has been great (it was second sample, schooling 4th), although we are still in training that spend part of winter in Florida for the past three years. (Showing 3 / 4, schooling PSG/I1) Even in this economy, top-level horses still going for the best price.
